Biennial Writers' Conference
​

In October 2017, GDRWA sponsored an all day writer's conference with over 80 participants who enjoyed the words of wisdom of keynote speaker, Beverly Jenkins, and presentations on craft by Deb Dixon. Our pre-glow event, featuring critiques of 3-5 pages, was also a smashing success. In addition, many participants attended our editor / agent panel and pitched afterward. For pictures of the event, please visit the Gallery page of our website! We hope to offer The Word Nerds Writers' Conference on a biennial basis if funds and resources permit.
