Greater Detroit Romance Writers, formally known as Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America, was founded in 1982 and officially incorporated on July 18, 1984, in the State of Michigan "to give a sense of cohesion and permanence to a group of writers
in order that they may set long-range goals and objectives." Today, we continue to support our 70+ members by offering a wide variety of speakers, networking opportunities,
critiques, contests, and conferences.
